The essence of conscious leadership

Being curious by nature, I always wanted to feel what was the essence of conscious leaders. How do they do what they do? What motivates them? What do they envision? What do they listen to? How do they act before this or that?

Today I begin to share with you a collection of texts with the steps you need to know to be successful on this journey:

Conscious Leadership

Someone who moves from a centered and aligned state, present, accessing multiple intelligences – the more options you have, the more easily you will understand your way – and living their values in the light of all parts and of something greater.

It is market by:

• Authenticity
• Emotional Intelligence
• Defined intentions
• Responsibility

Assumptions that govern the essence of conscious leaders

• Each BEING is the whole, is part of all other wholes, and in turn is part of the greater whole!
• Each part contains the whole!
• Each part can recreate the whole!

Conscious leaders know that they are not alone, that the Hero’s Journey is now shared together; they know that complementarity exists; they know that to be successful you have to experience situations that are apparently unsuccessful, and they also know how to make the bridge between the two states, to take their learning and grow.

The essence of conscious leaders calls for something greater, wants to bring something greater to the World. For example, if you want to bring more light to the World, at the same time you are attracting more darkness, the opposite of light. And only after you build the bridge between the two, you are prepared to walk and bring, in fact, more light to the World. It is precisely because we know the opposite of light that we want to bring it to the World. This is called balance.

For us, Portuguese, politics aside, it is a blessing to have a conscious leader acting as a President of the Republic! Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa personifies this essence that is so human after all.
